About Us

Welcome to the website of Blue Cedar Art Gallery. Glastonbury has a large creative community and we put on exhibitions featuring some of the best art from the area, though we shall also feature artists from further afield from time to time.
Blue Cedar was established in 2010 by Glastonbury residents Angela Watson and Paul Manning.
We opened our first gallery in 2010 on the High Street. With its large creative community, they felt that Glastonbury needed an outlet for this talent especially as two other galleries in town had closed down earlier. They also felt that this new venue would be different. It was to be more of an art center, where people can meet to learn about art, certainly not a shop that sells paintings.
We relocated in 2012 when the café closed down to the Print Works on Silver Street, which is only a short walk from the High Street. We have got a number of exhibitions planned and we have been a venue for Somerset Arts Weeks since September 2010.
